Dr Anitha is a Consultant Geriatric Psychiatrist at Nightingales Centre for Ageing and Alzheimer's Centre. She completed her core and specialist psychiatry training in the UK and returned to India four years ago. Her interests are to improve the access to dementia care and improve awareness in the community. She has participated in several public engagement programs to do the same. She also works closely with other specialists in a general hospital to sensitize other specialties about needs of elderly.

Dr Mathew Varghese is a Senior Professor of Psychiatry, with a special interest in Geriatric (Old Age) Psychiatry. He was associated with the Geriatric Clinic at NIMHANS for over 20 years till 2021 and later started a cinic at St John's Medical College, Bangalore. He has over 30 years of clinical expertise in the diagnosis, treatment and continuous care of persons and their families with Dementias and Alzheimer's disease.

Dr.Srikala Bharath has been a Life Skills Trainer for the past 25 years.

She is a former Professor of Psychiatry and Consultant of NIMHANS Bengaluru, India. She is a Fellow of the Royal College, UK and was the Vice Chair of the South Asian Division of the Royal College of UK. She is a Chevning Scholar. She is also a Fellow of Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.

Geriatric Psychiatrist

Dr Murali Krishna is a Consultant in Geriatric Psychiatry at Viveka Hospital Mysore, and a Senior Research Fellow at Bangor University UK. He was clinically trained at Cambridge and Liverpool in the UK, and earned his doctoral degree (PhD) from the University of Southampton UK through a prestigious Welcome-India Alliance Trust Fellowship. He is a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) from the UK and is a registered specialist in Geriatric Mental Health at the General Medical Council UK. He has over 20 years of experience of treating persons with dementia and supporting their caregivers in the UK and India. He provides bespoke diagnostics and treatment for older adults who are experiencing problems with their memory and mental health.

Dr Priya Raghavan completed her training in mental health in Scotland, UK in the picturesque areas of Lanarkshire and Aberdeen gaining experience of working with adults and the elderly often with complex mental illnesses requiring treatment under the Mental Health Act and Adults with Incapacity Act. She worked as a consultant psychiatrist in NHS Lanarkshire covering in-patients in several hospitals in the county alongside leading the local Community Mental Health Team at the Clydesdale area catering to elderly patients in the clinic and community (includes home visits, visits to old age homes etc). She relocated to Bangalore in 2017 where she continues her clinical practice. As such, she carries a wealth of experience in addressing the mental health needs of the adult and elderly population.

Dr Steve is a graduate of Sri Siddhartha Medical College. He went on to do his DNB in Medicine from Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute, Thrissur, Kerala; and then his DGM in Geriatric Medicine from MS Ramaiah Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore. Dr Steve also holds a Cert Essentials in Palliative Medicine from St John's Medical College, Bangalore.

Dr Manjaly has been part of the Dept of Aged Care and Extended services, (2018) as Clinical Observer, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Adelaide, South Australia. He is currently a PhD candidate (External) at the Yenepoya University, Mangalore, Karnataka. Dr Steve has held the position of Associate Professor and Head, Dept of Geriatric Medicine, Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute, Thrissur, Kerala before joining Apollo Hospitals as Consultant Geriatrician.

Dr Steve as been faculty on the expert panel for the Certificate course in Integrated Geriatric Care, Public Health Foundation of India since 2020. He is the former Joint Secretary and current EC member - Indian Academy of Geriatrics. He initiated the “Jubilee Geriatric Home Care service” at JMMC and Co-founded the Division of Geriatric Medicine, St John’s Medical College, Bangalore. Dr Steve has been affiliated with Senior Citizen Health Service, St John’s Medical College, Bangalore since 2013. Dr Steve also has several research publications to his credit.

Dr. Girish Chandra is a psychiatrist associated with the Navachethana Hospital in Bangalore. He has rich clinical experience in successfully treating patients with psychological issues and also patients suffering from mental illness. Dr Chandra treats patients using conventional medicines and with a wide range of psychotherapy techniques (Including Hypnotherapy). He specializes in treating patients suffering from Anxiety, OCD, Depression, Anger Issues, Addiction, Suicide Prevention, Relationship Counselling, PTSD, Insomnia (Sleep Problems), Stress Management, Mental Illness (Bipolar, Hysteria, Schizophrenia). A very outgoing personality, he believes that his field of work is beyond the basic assumption of the people and is more along the lines of helping individuals lead a quality life without mental troubles.

Dr Dominic graduated from St John's Medical College, Bangalore, in April 1994 and went on to complete postgraduate training (1999) in Internal Medicine from St Martha's Hospital. After completing his postgraduate training, he joined as Senior Tutor in the Department of Nephrology at St John's Medical College & Hospital.

He then migrated to United Kingdom to pursue his higher studies and training. He developed a strong passion to care for older adults, pursued further training in Geriatrics and Gerontology. He successfully completed his training and worked as a Consultant Geriatrician in the UK. He relocated back to India to promote awareness and improve the standard of care for older adults.

He started the Department of Geriatrics in Bangalore Baptist Hospital where he currently works. His passion is to teach and impart knowledge and skill. He is an International MRCP postgraduate medicine (DNB) and MBBS examiner. He is also part of various committees and regularly speaks at various forums to promote successful green ageing.

Dr. R Srinivasa is a senior professor and Head of Department of Neurology with an experience of 42 years in the field with vast experience and expertise in many areas of neurology. He has done several studies in various disciplines in neurology. He has attended several international training programs. He is actively involved in teaching and training post graduates in neurology and active in the cutting edge diagnostics and therapeutics areas in various disciplines of neurology, practicing ethical and evidence based clinical methods in the practice

Dr Sravani Gaddipati
Assistant Professor of Psychiatry 

Dr.Sravani Gaddipati graduated from Kasturba Medical College Manipal and pursued her post graduation at NIMHANS, Bengaluru. She worked a Senior Resident in NIMHANS, Bengaluru and in Gayathri Vidya Parishad, Visakhapatnam. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of
Psychiatry in Gayathri Vidya Parishad Institute of Health Care and Medical Technology, Visakhapatnam and is affiliated to Sneha Sandhya Age Care Foundation. She is currently pursuing Global Fellowship programme in Palliative Medicine at Pallium India, Trivandrum, Kerala. 
Her areas of interest are Geriatric Psychiatry and PsychoOncology. She is passionate about improving the outreach for mental health services in the community. She has taken part in several awareness programmes on dementia and workshops for the promotion of mental health in Visakhapatnam.
